general FAQs
Should I choose a tethered or untethered charger?
It is a personal decision dependent on what would be most useful to you.
A tethered charger is a charger with the cable fused to it and cannot be detached. It can be convenient as you will only need to plug the cable in to your car when you want to use the charger.
An untethered charger will not have a cable attached, so you will need to use a separate cable to charge. However, some customers prefer the untethered unit as it looks more aesthetically pleasing.
