Can I use a normal 3 pin plug to charge my EV?
While you can use a normal socket / 3-pin plug occasionally, it is not recommended to use it on a regular basis. If you have a pure EV or a hybrid that you are charging multiple times a week, it would be recommended to install a proper charger. This is due to safety precautions as sockets are not designed to have so much electricity running through it regularly.
