One of the key anxieties of becoming an EV driver, especially for the first time, is range anxiety and the fear of running out of charge.
You'd like to think that being in a situation where you're close to running out of charge would never happen to you. In the vast majority of cases it probably won't but sometimes just sometimes you might find yourself in that rather precarious situation where you're looking at how many miles you have left and how many miles it is to the nearest charger.... hoping just hoping that the charger itself is working.
Well, through our wonderful partnerships with Hendy Group and Recharge Rescue, the fantastic Philippa Forrester tested what would happen if an EV did ever completely run out of charge.... you can see the pictures and even a video by clicking here
It's important to note that there are some GREAT services available to you in the rare instances that these situations occur. What's more you can access discounts on these services through your EV Benefits Membership!

Recharge Rescue
One of these services and benefits available to you is via Recharge Rescue. If you do ever run out of charge and have their policy in place, you'd simply give them a call and within 90 minutes they'd be with you, giving your EV a boost and directing you to the nearest charging point. They cover all EVs too, so you don't need to worry!
Through Zoom you can get 10% off their policies.

Green Flag
Green Flag are one of the largest recovery companies in the UK and have embraced EV early on. Greenflag's approach to recovery is different in that they will put your EV on one of their flatbed trucks and take you to the nearest charging point. They've got 24/7 assistance, will recover your EV at home if needed and even have a network across Europe.
Whether you're in the UK or abroad in Europe they've got you covered.
So whilst you might not run out of charge there are services providing you with peace of mind in case you do!
