When transitioning to an EV, one of the first question that people ask themselves is where do I charge my car and how does it work? For many, this question can be daunting and when searching for the answer the amount of information can be overwhelming. The EV charging market has grown exponentially on an international and UK scale, and the need for public chargers is now bigger than ever. There are now thousands of public charging stations to choose from that offer various payment methods and different speeds of charging, which can make it hard to know where to start.

Improvements have been made over the last couple of years to make the experience of using public charger simpler for people, such as Zap-Map, an app that gives you live updates of chargers near you, their availability and how to use them.
